Peter Giles - Owner
Peter Giles is the joint owner of World Market Travel with his brother Tim. He has spent 50 years of his working life in tourism. He started his travel agency career with Thomas Cook in Bath when package holidays were in their infancy and since then has seen many changes in the travel industry.

During his time in travel Peter has travelled the world including forty trips to Australia. His wealth of travel knowledge is now used at his own Bath travel agency where he arranges holidays by appointment which enables you at no extra charge to talk your holiday plans over with him.

During his travels this year peter has been to Jordan , during the fact-finding visit he went to Jerash, Petra, Aqaba & Dead Sea resort. Peter says its incredible for its history and scenic beauty. Peter has also this year visited Jamaica, Philippines, Tuscany, Quebec and Australia.

Last year his favourite trip abroad was to Australia and New Zealand, in Australia he found many new exciting excursions and places to visit, his favourite island is Hayman Island which is one of Australia’s top island resorts. On to New Zealand the visit included a new destination for Peter being the Abel Tasman area which is a fantastic area for walking for the less experienced walker .He also took the opportunity of taking some flying lessons over a period of four days and reckons this is the place to learn, not only do you fly over amazing scenery but you do it at half the cost in England. Tim Giles - Owner
Tim has worked in the Travel Industry for over 40 years and has gained immense amount of destinational knowledge during that time. Tim has always been passionate about Australia and has now lost count of the visits he has made to this amazing and diverse continent.... certainly close to 50 trips!

As far as the rest of the world is concerned his travel have taken him to South America, India, Asia, Himalayas, China, New Zealand, The Pacific Islands, Africa, most of Europe, Cruising and a whole lot more.

His worldwide expertise is without a doubt extensive and offers World Market Travel's clients a vast portfolio of travel suggestions and observations.

Steve Giles - Manager
Steve has worked for the family business since completing a diploma in travel & tourism 23 years ago. During that time he has travelled extensively in Europe, the USA, Australia/New Zealand, Africa and South East Asia. His highlights include the temples of Angkor in Cambodia and the splendour of the Taj Mahal in India. Another of his favourites is Thailand for the warmth of it's people, spectacular temples & scenery and fantastic value for money. Steve also enjoys the thrills of the theme parks in Florida.

Over the years the travel business has changed a great deal and one of Steve's main jobs has been to ensure that World Market Travel has been at the forefront of technology.
